ABOUT ME:
I am originally from Greenville, SC but moved to Charlotte, NC after graduating from Clemson University in 2003. My career as a teacher in CMS began that same year. I have taught grades 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 in my 14 years in the classroom. As a classroom teacher, I completed my National Board Certification. I have worked as a facilitator/teacher coach for two years. I received my Master's of Education in Curriculum and Supervision from UNCC. Then I pursued and completed my certification for AIG at Queens University. Finally, I was fortunate to be a part of the Emerging Leaders Program which is a branch of New Leaders of Charlotte. This school year, I serve as a fourth grade Literacy teacher.
